Managing student misbehavior can feel overwhelming and time consuming, causing some educators to fall into negative patterns. A corollary to CHAMPS, DSC is a proactive, positive, and instructional approach to classroom management designed to help the secondary classroom teacher manage student behavior and increase student motivation.  Participants will learn to organize their classroom for student success, communicate clear expectations for student behavior, motivate students to do their best, and skillfully respond to misbehavior.

Please save these confirmation emails—they will include the links you will need to join the Zoom sessions. Two links for all the week’s sessions—the In-depth Session link for all In-depth Sessions (Tu–Fri) and the Keynote/Panel Discussion link for the Keynote and each Panel Discussion (Tu–Fri). TIP: Use the “Add to Calendar” link in the confirmation emails to set an automatic reminder.
  • Plan to attend each live session. Recordings of In-depth sessions will be available only until the start of the next day’s meeting.
  • In-depth sessions will include homework assignments to be competed before the next meeting, so be sure to set aside additional time each day for that.
  • Registrants should sign up for only one In-depth session.
